# 🛒 Trading with Shinobi

After transferring the requisite 1000 $NINJA, and SOL, either select the 'Refresh' button or type /dojo in the chat to view your updated balances.

The Dojo Dashboard also provides you with real-time information on the prices of your token holdings.&#x20;

To initiate a buy, press the 'Buy' button on the top left side of the user interface.&#x20;

This returns a prompt requesting for you to provide a token contract address. Simply enter the contract address into the chat, for example: 2xP43MawHfU7pwPUmvkc6AUWg4GX8xPQLTGMkSZfCEJT&#x20;

The control panel, as visualised above, facilitates both buys and sales. The default values can be toggled under /settings.&#x20;

You will be able to see your current [💰](https://emojipedia.org/money-bag) Balance for this token, and access buttons linking the associated social media pages, blockchain explorers and aggregators.&#x20;

To buy the token, select the button corresponding to the equivalent quantity of SOL you wish to spend. Selecting  [🛒](https://emojipedia.org/shopping-cart) Buy X SOL returns a message prompting you to reply with a custom value, for instance 0.1 as demonstrated in the example.&#x20;

Whilst initialising the trade, Shinobi will initially return a message showing the trade as ⏳Processing before confirming [✅](https://emojipedia.org/check-mark-button) Swap Successful with the updated token balance. It's really as straightforward as that, with no additional steps required.&#x20;
